December 2012: Emily and I received a call that Kidist's older biological sister, Hermella, was available for adoption. Kidist had been with us since March.
There wasn't a doubt in our mind or heart. We said YES immediately and began our third adoption journey.
I would say, "fast forward 15 months", but it wasn't fast. The process was excruciatingly slow for various reasons, but we are here. We (all 7 of us!) leave on Sunday to spend a week in Addis and to complete our family.
